About the Client
Alchemy’s mission is “to be the premier higher education solutions partner for Workday”. As such, they created a platform to streamline job hunting for college students, and solve pipeline issues for employers.
Alchemy’s goal is to make job hunting easy and efficient for students. Their strategy is double barreled: an intuitive interface which leverages the student’s field of study and course experience to find the most appropriate job match. This includes introducing students to aspirational jobs or careers they may not have otherwise been aware of.
About the Project
Our task was to design a business model that integrated these goals, appealing to a younger demographic of job seekers. The job market, and therefore the recruitment market, is changing. It’s estimated that by 2025, 75% of the workforce will be milleniell, which means that communication channels are shifting. More and more recruiters are using social media platforms such as Instagram to source candidates with positive outcomes (Zogby Analytics). With this in mind, our business model aimed to make Alchemy’s platform the primary social currency for student job seekers.
